Build the backlink profile your product deserves.

You’ve put the work into your software. Now give it a presence beyond your own domain. Build your backlink profile through software directories that publish product profiles with links to your website.

Make your software easier to discover in search and AI.

When someone researches software for a specific problem, your product needs more than a homepage. Build public profiles that explain what it does, which category it belongs in, and who it’s built for.

Keep that story consistent across software comparison sites, alternative-discovery platforms, and product communities. Give people researching their next tool more places to find and understand your SaaS.

A clearer product identity across the public web.

Your product. Your positioning. No generic copy-paste

You know what makes your software valuable. Review the product details before they represent you elsewhere. Listy adapts your approved description, categories, and audience to different directory requirements.

A customer-support tool for ecommerce teams shouldn’t sound like a generic business app. Keep the use case and customer fit clear, whether a directory needs a short introduction or a fuller product description.

Questions before you list your SaaS?

Will directory listings improve my SaaS’s SEO?

Relevant directory profiles add public references to your product and, where the directory includes a website link, add backlinks. Link attributes, indexing, and SEO value vary by website. Domain Authority and Domain Rating are third-party metrics, not guarantees of Google rankings. Listy handles the submission work and verifies public results; it does not promise a particular authority score, search position, or AI recommendation.

How do I know you won’t submit to irrelevant websites?

You review the directory choices before starting listing work. Recommendations are based on your offering, categories, and audience, so you can choose destinations that fit your software. Representative logos are examples, not a promise that every site will accept every product.

Which directories suit my SaaS?

Start with what your product does and who it serves. Listy recommends relevant destinations for your offering, category, and audience. Review the available websites before starting listings; each directory has its own eligibility requirements.

What product details should I prepare?

Have your product website, name, description, software categories, target audience, logo, and public contact email ready. A directory may also ask for pricing, screenshots, integrations, or account verification. Any required action appears alongside your listing.

Can my product fit more than one software category?

Your approved profile can describe multiple relevant categories. Individual directories use their own definitions and decide which categories a product qualifies for. Describe your actual capabilities rather than choosing unrelated categories for extra exposure.

Do I need customer reviews before I submit?

Creating a product profile and collecting reviews are separate activities. Eligibility depends on the directory, so review the available destinations for your product. A Listy submission does not include generating customer reviews or earning review-platform badges.

Does this include a managed Product Hunt launch?

Directory submission work is not a managed launch campaign. A representative Product Hunt example does not include launch promotion, votes, featured placement, or launch-day support. Review the scope and requirements of a destination before starting work.

What counts toward my package?

Each package adds listing credits to your workspace: 50 for $97 or 150 for $247, paid once. One credit starts work on one listing. Credits cover the listing work; they do not guarantee acceptance or a published profile on a third-party website.

How long do submissions and publication take?

Submission work depends on the directory’s requirements and any information or approval needed from you. After submission, some sites publish quickly while others review applications for days or weeks. Your dashboard shows progress and distinguishes submitted work from verified live listings.

What happens if I’m already listed?

Listy can check for an existing profile before creating another. The next step may be to review, update, or verify that profile. Your listing status shows the work being performed.

What happens if a directory rejects my submission?

A rejection remains visible, with the reason when available. The next step may be to correct details, provide missing information, retry later, or stop work on that directory. Each website makes its own acceptance decisions.

Are directory fees included?

Your Listy package pays for listing work. A directory may charge separately for submission or an optional upgrade. Any third-party charge is separate from your package and requires your approval.

When does Listy need my help?

Listy handles routine listing email and follow-up through a managed operational address. If a website needs a phone check, business-owner proof, payment approval, or another decision from you, the listing shows a clear task explaining what is needed.

Does being listed guarantee better rankings?

Listings can give people more ways to discover and research your business, and may bring referral traffic. They do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, revenue, or recommendations from AI systems.
